Registrations made before October 18th, are guaranteed a T-Shirt:
Adult (13 & over as of 10/26/24) $30.00 Youth (12 & under) $20.00
Day of registrations are available, but extra t-shirts will limit, so try to register early.
Entry Fees Day of Race:
Adults: $35.00 Youth: $25.00
Ghost Runners who just want to donate and get the t-shirt can register online for $35.00
Please Note: The 1 Mile Fun Run does not go through the Zombie Woods.

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall Males and Females and the top 3 in each age groups beginning with 10 years old & under, up to 70+
Peachtree Qualifying Race
Race Management provided by BT Race Timing.
The race course runs from the starting point in Etowah River Park, through the Zombie infested woods, around Heritage Park, and returns through the woods to the Finish Line back at Etowah River Park. It will be dark so please watch for zombies and please do not touch the zombies, they will not be chasing or grabbing you, that would just be rude wouldn’t it?

No, not at all. Our zombies are more the slow, lazy sort.

Whatever you want. Come as a zombie or just come as you would for any other road race.

Race results will are provided by BT Race Timing with results posted to BTRaceTiming.com; Active.com, Athlinks.com; and RunGeorgia.com.

You are guaranteed to get a T-shirt if you register by October 18th. Registering by that date gives us time to order the size you request. We will have a limited number of extras but it will be first come on those.

All Race Packets will be given out at the event site the day of the race.

In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. Race may be postponed of canceled up to 1 hour in event of dangerous weathers. No refunds, but you still get the T-shirt if registered online.

We will not be having a costume contest this year.

The 2024 event will just be the 5K and Fun Run with an awesome DJ. This will not be the full Zombie Fest, just the Walk, Run, Creep, or Crawl which is still through the Zombie Infested woods. So much fun, it’s SCARY!!!
For twelve years the Zombie Fest 5K and Fun Run has been “Raising Awareness, By Raising The Dead.” Each year this event has been made possible by Drug Free Cherokee, an initiative of Cherokee FOCUS since 2004. It is our way to bring awareness around the dangers of substance misuse and abuse, with a focus on our youth and young adults. Too many lives have been lost or damaged due to substance misuse, but so many lives have been saved through prevention efforts like education, policy changes, reducing drug and alcohol access to our underage youth, and through ongoing community supportive recovery efforts. Thank you for your registration, you may never know whose life was effected in some way, as a result of your support.
